Hello old friend

Could it really be? No, seriously.. could it?? Has it ACTUALLY been OVER a year since my last update??? I can't believe how time flies when you live in a remote northern region (because, if you didn't know, I have been living in Iqaluit, Nunavut aka the Arctic since February 2011). This place is truly a time warp and I feel like the last 10 months or so have flown by in a flash! Needless to say I have been super incredibly busy, hence no updates... Or to this blog at least, since I have also been trying to update my other blog http://pascaleinthearctic.blogspot.com, mind you, I havent updated that one in a while either!.. Yeesh! Anyway, I haven't just been too busy to update my art blog, it seems I've also been too busy to really make a whole lot of art. It's really ironic to me that, when moving to the North, I thought I would have soooo much free time (not so say boredom) and be able to make truckloads of art. But instead I find myself busy every single night of the week. That's not to say that I haven't been doing any art whatsoever, because I have actually been working on this AMAZING graphic novel that was written by my genius comedic prodigy friend Iain Campbell (who also has a blog). Aside from that I have a few things worthy of posting and I will skip the explanations for now since I really just want to break this no-posting curse!!

This is a drawing I did this morning (the first of 2012!).

Here is an updated version of the sleeve I had drawn for my friend. It is a more realistic take on the first one I had drawn up.

This is album art I did for my friends in Alaskan.

Observations about life in Iqaluit, done on December 27th.. Oh and actually this is something that I drew for my super special friend Jordan. I have sent it to him by mail so if he sees this I guess the surprise will kind of be ruined haha

This is a logo I did for my friend Jeff's record label (Finish What You Started).

This is a painting I did for my grand-parents.. Not exactly my regular style, but a good example of my versatility nonetheless!

That's it for now folks! Until next time (hopefully sooner than my last update!)
